Sam Smith, DVM
Dr. Sam Smith grew up on a beef and tobacco farm in Sharps Chapel, TN. Dr. Smith earned her Bachelor's degree in American Studies and Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology from Lincoln Memorial University in 2004. Following graduation, she worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years in Jefferson City, TN. She then obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.
Dr. Smith continued her career as a professor at the Lincoln Memorial Unversity College of Veterinary Medicine in Harrogate, TN from 2019-2021. While at LMU, Dr. Smith worked primarily with fourth year veterinary students in clinical settings on the farm. Dr. Smith currently lives in Blaine, TN with her husband. She enjoys beekeeping, photography, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
